I have painted for most of my life. The unexpected sense of freedom that I experienced even as a child while learning to draw and paint had a tremendous impact on my practice. The choice to be mainly a painter in my art practice and to use the codes of abstraction has continued to evolve over the years.

 

Once in a while I discover a work which I had completed a decade or two ago, either in my studio or visiting a client, and what I am always surprised with is how It still connects to my current work and practice.
